Visiting Salt Spring? >
scootin’ around
This itinerary was submitted by Candice Cole, Front Manager at Rock Salt Restaurant & Cafe who commutes to work in the south end of Salt Spring on her fancy little red scooter.
My itinerary begins right in Fulford Harbour. Although some might disagree, you don’t have to go all the way into Ganges to enjoy a day on Salt Spring especially if you’re pressed for time! You won’t even need to fuel up. I recommend a small map for ease, but South Enders are super friendly!
Stop #1- Rock Salt Restaurant and Cafe
Pop into this super friendly joint for a latte & one of their homemade sweet and sticky cinnamon buns or chocolate chip cookies! Get their early, as they go quickly. It’s a great way to start your day.
Stop #2- Morningside Organic Bakery – 107 Morningside Road
Delicious breads made with organic goodness! Maybe even find a new book to dive into?
Stop #3- The Wardrobe, Jambalaya Hat and Bead Shop, Knotty Threads & Stuff and Nonsense
